Aura of Darkness will accept members from any time zone provided they meet the following requirements: 

 
  •  No trial accounts.

  

  • You must be willing to PvP and will be expected to:
    • Provide an up to date killboard link at application to show your pvp experiance.  If you don't have a prior killboard we suggest you join Red v Blue Corporations for a month and reapply once you have more pvp experience). 
    • We also operate under a montly quota. Each pilot is required to log at least twenty kills (special consideration is made for scouts, logistics and falcon pilots). While twenty might sound like alot, it's not uncommon for members to get 20 kills in a single roam/fleet. We understand real life can surprise people from time to time and if you post in our 'Away' thread you will not be required to meet the quota while away.

 

  • You must be able to fly a battlecruiser or better combat ship (with relevent support skills).

 

  • No corp thieves will be accepted.

 

  • You must have read and understood our rules (see info section on this website).

 

  • You must be 21 or older or suitably mature 16+ year olds (everyone is subject to trial period).

 

  • You must plan on living in 0.0 (we are not looking for empire mission runners or low sec pirates, etc).

 

  • Pilots who enjoy causing internal 'drama' need not apply.

 

 

HOW TO APPLY: The application process is very simple. Applicants are advised to follow the directions below to ensure their application is processed quickly and smoothly. 

 

STEP 1 CHAT WITH US INGAME.

All interested pilots are required to join our open channel, 'AUDK Public', where you can chat to our members and ask any initial questions you may have about the corp. Please be sure to speak with one of the officers (just ask in channel if any are available) before starting the process listed below.  If both parties like what they see, you are welcome to apply.    


 

STEP 2 INGAME APPLICATION.

After joining our in-game channel, 'AUDK Public', and speaking to one of our recruiters you will be asked to  submit an in-game application. 


 

NOTE: When completing your in-game application please include the following information:

  • Where you live in real life (country).


 
  • Reason for leaving previous Corporation (if applicable).

 

 

 

STEP 3 PROBATION PERIOD AND QUESTIONNAIRE.

 

 Once accepted, applicants must complete at least a 28 day probation period with the following restrictions:
 

  • No access to any of the corp hangers during the 28 day probation period.
  • Understand that even after the probation period is up and you become a member, this is not a guarentee of access to all Corporation facilities. Access levels past standard membership are given on a merit basis.
  • Activity in Corporation, Alliance, and Coalition operations is required while in the probation period. If you don't get to know us why should we keep you.
  • Activity in Alliance CTAs is mandatory, when real life permits.  CTAs include home defense as well as important operations but do not include normal roams.

  
 

During the first two weeks you are in the Corporation we will expect you to complete the questionaire below and post it on our forums (failure to do so will result in removal from the Corporation).

 

 

1) How old are you in real life?



2) How long have you played Eve for?



3) Is this your main character in eve?

  • Main characters name?
  • Do you have more than one eve account and if so will all of your accounts be applying to join the corp. If not please supply names of all your ingame characters?
  • What are your alt characters names and will they be joining and what can they fly/do?


 

4) Ventrillo is required while playing (A quality head set with microphone is highly recommended), do you have any issues with this?



5) What's your pvp experience in Eve? (please provide a link to a publicly available killboard)



6) Any special skills in pvp?



7) Any special industrial skills?



8) Can you fly and do you own a Capital Ship? If not do you plan to get one in the future and what is the eta?


   9) Do you own any T2 BPO's or do invention, and if so are you willing to sell the finished products to corp members for cost or lower price?



10) Please specify your normal online hours (please use Eve time)



11) How many days a week do you normally pvp for, (minimum one hour to qualify as a day)?



12) Do you know any current members?


13)  What do you enjoy doing most in Eve, why do you want to join us and what do you think/hope we can do for you?


14) Do you agree to abide by all Corporation / Alliance rules and guidelines?


 15) Please supply your full API key and user ID to allow a corp security check (this may be changed after your application has been received).  You can get you API key and full info about what it lets us see here:
